Addison, IllinoisIn its largest plant investment in Mexico this year, diversified metal component manufacturer JD Norman Industries, Inc. announced today a 400 ton Komatsu punch press was recently added to its Monterrey Plant in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

The new press investment will expand the Monterrey Plant’s product capabilities and allow for future growth. “The investment is to support our current customers with demand for this product capability in Mexico,” says Justin Norman, President & Chief Executive Officer. “The new equipment will also allow for the capacity needed to support new customers in this growing automotive market.” Production schedules for the Kia Optima are already underway with others soon to follow.
